March 05, 2025. Call for cooperation to farmers from Požarevac

In cooperation with colleagues from Agricultural extension service Požarevac, the gathered farmers were given two lectures on the importance of old varieties from the aspect of increasing agro-biodiversity and sources of tolerance to diseases and pests. Six of those present applied were applied for cooperation with the NEST project

The NEST project was presented to the gathered farmers; a survey was distributed to them. Some of them declared that they were interested in further cooperation.

February 13, 2025. The kick-off meeting of the NEST project team members

At the first meeting of the team, which was held at the Maize Research Institute Zemun Polje, a work plan was established, and initial tasks were assigned to each team member.
